June 7, 2009

Board members in attendance:  Robert Bauer, Avis Rinsem, Anthony Kapusinski, Corey Berg, Greg Meier, and Mike Boelter.

Secretary’s report:  May minutes were approved.

Treasurers Report:  Following reports distributed:
Cash Flow Summary and Detail

Will present draft for next year at July meeting.

Sno-Trails Report:    June 29th is the next meeting at which we will have elections for officers for Sno-Trails.  We have purchased two disks to help with grooming field trails.  All clubs need to stay in touch with their local officials to help keep snowmobile trails open.  The bridge for east of St. Patrick (Boy Scout Eagle Badge project) is finished and ready to be installed.  Funding by State of Minnesota for trails has remained the same for the next year.  Volunteers are needed to man the MNUSA booth at the state fair.  Volunteers needed to help with Landowner’s Picnic on July 12th.  Please contact Corey Berg.     

Trail Coordinator:  We will be working on GPS coordinates for our trails for the new maps.  All one way signs will need to be replaced when new replacement signs are issued by the state.    

Old Business:  Club logo designs shown and vote taken to determine final draft.  Nominations taken for club elections that will take place at the July meeting.  Dan Patch Days:  Corey to pick up float on Wednesday,  June 24th, work on float at Corey’s on the 25th, depart from Corey’s at 10:00 am on the 28th for the parade.  Giveaways for the parade – can coolers in assorted colors with club logo and info printed on them.   Landowners Picnic:  Sunday, July 12th.  Corey Berg coordinator – volunteers needed for set up, serving and clean up.

New Business:   Banners to be purchased for parade, etc with new club logo.  $100 budget approved to purchase merchandise from MNUSA for the club trip in January or February.  Tom Wills and Jim Rinsem will be the club trip coordinators.  Behind the Wheel Testing will be done with Prior Lake and Shakopee clubs on  November 21st in the parking lot at Canterbury.
