Secretary’s Report: January Minutes approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Report approved.
Sno-Trails Report:
- No report.
Trail Coordinator:
- Nothing new to report.
Old Business:
- Club trip – Feb 4-6
o Club trip was a success. Thank you to Jim & Tom for all of their hard work.
o Trails were in good shape.
o Tom will send thank you cards to the motel, restaurant, resort and the Little Store. - Club jackets/shirts w/new logo
o Nothing new..
New Business:
- Groomer drivers needed.
- The Backwoods Tour that raises for money charity was held last weekend. Rob mentioned that the club might want to make a donation for next years tour.
- On 4/5 at the Sheraton in Bloomington there will be a sneak preview of the 2011 sleds if anyone is interested.
- The meeting about the letter from the city regarding snowmobile issues was discussed (see attached). We discussed how to address the hot spots and decided that:
o We will post additional speed limit signs (all available) primarily along Co Rd 27 south of 42.
o We will talk to homes with snowmobilers in the Glendale/McColl area to inform them of the snowmobile rules in Savage.
o We will talk to the home owner that said that his seedlings were ridden over. We might be able to put "seedlings planted" signs up or take other measures.
o We will put up fencing at the corner of Co Rds 16 & 18 to keep sleds from taking the short cut up the hill.
