Secretary’s Report: No formal meeting or minutes since July
Treasurer’s Report: Approved.
All 1000 Hay Days tickets have been sold.
Large patches still available for $15 ea (see John A.)
Sno-Trails Report:
$13,784 was spent on fuel for the groomers last year. Insurance was the same as last year.
Working on a new groomer for Shakopee.
PL groomer is rusting and needs approx $8,000 of work.
Land owners picnic – Spent approx $5000
- John Aspelin set-up a web site for soliciting donations.
- Snodiac dinner cost went down but now there are no drink tickets or appetizers.
- Top prize is $3000.
Getting 5000 new maps and they will have GPS coordinates.
Sandy from the Shakopee will be doing map ads next year.
PL swap meet is 10/8 at Tractor Supply store in PL.
Trail Coordinator:
CR 27, 44 and hwy’s 101/13 may have possible problems for trails this year du to new road construction.
Trails need to be in by Nov 30. We typically wait until after Halloween to avoid problems with damage to signs.
Old Business:
Safety training. A notice will be placed in the Savage Pacer.
- The DNR is now collecting training fees.
- Training will be held at Savage City Hall.
Club Trip. At Lakewoods Resort in Cable WI the weekend of Feb 2-5.
- Rooms are approx $75/night/room. We opted to not get the optional meal plan.
- Friday night is the club social and taco & pizza meal. Stats at 6:30 and will cost $12.
- 1 person per room needs to call in a credit card reservation for the room and will be billed 1 night stay. If the trip is cancelled after the 45 day cancellation you will get a credit to use later.
See Tom Wills if you want to reserve a space.
New Business:
We had 2 new club members at this meeting. Please welcome Clay Goetz and Bjorn Pearson.
Club elections were held. Up for vote were President, Vice President, 2 board members (odd year), Secretary and Treasurer.

Caliber order – Rob will be taking Caliber orders through the next meeting (pay at meeting).

We will be having another membership drive in November.
